Jesse String (born November 14, 1981) is a recording engineer, mixer, producer and musician. He has worked with Prince, Van Halen, The Jonas Brothers, Leonard Cohen, The Band Perry, Nick Jonas, Johnny Mathis, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry Pat Monahan, Shawn Mendes, Ziggy Marley, Joe Cocker, Demi Lovato, Natasha Bedingfield, and Mika to name a few.
Originally from Baltimore, Jesse graduated from The Berklee School of Music in Boston with a degree in Production and Engineering. His career blossomed as a young engineer at Henson Studios and was hired by producer Patrick Leonard as his full time engineer in 2006. Jesse is an in-demand producer, engineer and mixer and records nationwide though primarily in his studio in Los Angeles. He began playing cello at age 5 and picked up drums and guitar a few years later. His success has come from understanding musicians and helping Artists express their creative ideas quickly and seamlessly in the recording studio. Jesse is an intuitive and passionate perfectionist who seeks excellence in all he does.
